Lincoln County, Missouri continues to see a high number of new COVID-19 cases daily, though we are starting to trend downward. There are currently about 36 cases added per day. In the beginning of September, this number was 44.

The increase in disease burden on children is concerning. LCHD reminds the community that the Delta variant is twice as transmissible as the variant that was spreading last year.
