About WIC

The Missouri WIC program supports eligible participants to provide supplemental food, health care referrals, nutrition education, and breastfeeding promotion. To participate in Missouri’s WIC program one must live in Missouri and household income may be no more than 185% of the federal poverty income guidelines along with the following additional requirements to be an eligible participant.

Eligible participants include:

  • Pregnant women

  • Breastfeeding women

  • Postpartum women, up to 6 months after giving birth

  • Infants and children up to their fifth birthday
