COVID-19 spreads very easily from person to person
COVID-19 vaccines and safe and effective. Being vaccinated lowers your chance of getting very sick or dying.
These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue/tiredness
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
How to protect yourself
Stay up to date on your COVID-19 vaccines
Stay home and get tested if you are sick
Call your doctor if you test positive, there are medicines that may help you if taken quickly
Avoid crowded places and stay 6 feet away from others
Avoid places with poor air flow
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use a 60% or greater alcohol-based hand sanitizer, if soap and water are not available
Clean frequently touched surfaces
