Lincoln County faces the threat for natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and deliberate or man-made attacks at any time.

The Lincoln County Public Health Department coordinates with local, state, and federal agencies to prepare our community’s response and safety efforts. While the likelihood that these events would occur in our region is low, if a disaster does happen, plans have been developed to support residents and partner agencies in order to mitigate damage and reduce disruption of operations. Government and community response in a disaster will not replace your own personal preparedness. You can lessen the impact a disaster has on your family by taking action in advance.  Stay informed, make a plan, build a kit, and be involved in regional planning efforts.
