Warming Center Volunteer Trainings
Lincoln County is in need of an overnight warming center to keep people safe and prevent deaths due to extreme cold. Space to host people in need of a warming center is available at the Lincoln County Health Department, and there is great need for volunteers (organizations and individuals) to assist with staffing the center. In order to participate, volunteers must go through a 1.5 hour training and be 18 years old or older.
Warming Center Volunteer Trainings will be held at the Lincoln County Health Department on Tuesday, 12/17 from 2-3:30pm and Thursday, 12/19 from 6:30-8:00pm. There is also a training on January 7th from 6:30-8:00pm at the O’Fallon City Hall.
