Emergency Weather Response (EWR) 2025

The St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren County Continuum of Care is working to provide the Emergency Weather Response program (EWR) from mid-November 2025 through mid-March 2026.

What is the EWR program?

This program is activated to provide safe sleep overnight when the weather is predicted to be 20 degrees or below. If you need a warm place to sleep, call the hotline (636) 344-0177 after 3pm. Transportation services may be available.

How many people were served last season?

The Lincoln County warming location opened for 25 nights last season, providing warmth and safety 54 times! This number reflects visits—some guests came more than once. Every night mattered, and every person mattered.
