Movement on Medication Safety
We are in need of volunteers to collaborate with the Region C Medical Reserve Corps and train to discuss NAS prevention, medication safety, and promote the Movement on Medication Safety Toolkit (MOMS). Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) is a group of conditions caused when a baby suffers withdrawal from certain drugs they are exposed to before birth. The Region C Medical Reserve Corps has created a rapid response team to aid in community and prescriber education and increase conversations in the community around this topic.
Please join our efforts to decrease the number of babies affected by rising opioid use before and during pregnancy, and increase the health of MOMS and babies everywhere!
