WEEKLY COVID-19 UPDATE 11/18/2021
Lincoln County, Missouri is still in the high community transmission category according to the CDC. We are adding about 31 cases per day 2 weeks ago that number was about 20. We suspect that has to do with the weather getting colder and with gatherings around Halloween.
The 7-day PCR positivity rate is 9.7%, at this time last week it was about 9.4%. We are seeing the positivity rate increase of the past couple of weeks. It reached 12% on Monday of this week. Cases per 100,000 in Lincoln County are at 229, up from 188 last week. We had gotten as low as 153 per 100,000 on 10/25.
In order to be considered a community with low transmission, this number should be less than 10.
Our number of active cases (individuals who are in isolation for COVID-19 infection) is at 155. Last week this number was at 150.
The age group with the biggest week over week increase was 30-39.
The zip codes with the biggest week over week increases were:
63383- Warrenton
63344- Eolia
63389- Winfield
63343- Elsberry
